This piece marks the beginning of a new collection for me. It’s a topic close to my heart, and I know it will resonate with everyone once the term is known to them. It is a beautiful and meaningful project.

The Sufi circle echoes the universal archetype of the sacred round—revered across ancient cultures as a symbol of wholeness, continuity, and the eternal cycle of existence. From the mandalas of the East to the medicine wheels of Indigenous traditions, the circle has always pointed to a deeper cosmic order. The Sufi circle inherits this sacred geometry not as a static shape, but as a living, breathing movement—a spiral inward toward self-knowledge and outward toward divine unity. Often called the circle of intellects, it draws philosophers, poets, and sages into a shared orbit of contemplation, where the soul speaks in silence and presence becomes the highest form of wisdom.

This piece is more than a sculpture; it is the heart of such a gathering space. Rooted in this lineage of sacred circles, it invites not only aesthetic admiration but soulful reflection. It becomes a vessel where connections—whether made in stillness or in laughter—form part of something timeless and sacred. It does not simply occupy space; it sanctifies it, offering a quiet invitation to remember what is eternal.

A heartfelt thank you to Canadian Friends of Sufi Arts, Culture, and Knowledge for auctioning the Sufi Circle on May 25th at the historic Hycroft Manor. What a beautiful evening being immersed in the art of poetry. Honoured to be among poetry lovers and arts enthusiasts who are passionate about Sufi culture and its rich traditions.

As for Sufi Circle, it seems the piece chose to whirl into rightful hands.
